Simple Days at the Faire – 2025

Hendricks County 4H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex

1900 East Main Street
Danville, IN 46122

Thursday, July 3 – Sunday, July 6, 2025

It’s a parish faire, with all the revelry, entertainment, comaraderie, feasting, boasting, fighting, gaming, and even sleeping that goes along with it – all with a nod to St. Phillip Neri, the patron saint of…shenanigans!

Enjoy booths presenting elements of Medieval village fairs, armored and rapier lists, ranged activities, crafter displays, and more!

Waiver Information

Attention! A note for those who will be bringing children not their own…

There are TWO forms you will need to bring for each child. They both need to be signed by the child’s parent or legal guardian. ONE MUST BE NOTARIZED per Indiana law.

  1. This one needs the notarization, and will be kept with the child at all times: LINK
  2. This one is the usual Minor Waiver: LINK

PLEASE have both these forms filled out and signed/notarized where appropriate for each child you will be bringing that you are not the parent or legal guardian of. This requirement is out of our control and the children affected will not be able to attend if they are not completed properly before arrival. Thank you.

Gold Key

GOLD KEY clothing and feast gear for newcomers will be available at the Registration Desk during normal registration hours, and may be returned following feast.

Questions regarding registration or Gold Key may be sent to chatelaine@sternfeld.org

Merchant and Faire Booth Information

We invite all Baronies, shires, cantons, guilds, merchants, and performers to present a booth along the Promenade of the fairgrounds for the enjoyment of the Faire attendees.

Booth subjects may include merchant space, exhibits, games, performances, craft and artisan demonstrations, or anything else that would add to the atmosphere of a late-period medieval faire. Booths will be intermingled along the Promenade to provide a fair-going experience. SCA groups may use their space for fundraising activities according to the rules of the SCA.

There is no charge for booth space (including merchant space,) but if someone will be camping in or by the booth we will need to charge the site camping fee.

Booths must provide their own tables, chairs, and sunshades. There will be a common Tavern space and a space set up as a Craftpersons Green for individual crafters who do not want to create their own booth.

In case of inclement weather, booth space will be provided under cover in Fairgrounds space.

If you have any other questions or want to reserve a space, please contact our Booth coordinator (contact info coming soon)

Lunch and Feast

We plan to have feast on Saturday night, July 5, after court.

Because of the economic uncertainty, we have been waiting to plan the menu and budget until we know we can serve the best possible feast at the lowest possible cost. We expect to have costs and preliminary menus by May 20.

If you wish to pre-register for gate fees with ePay, you may do so. When we have announced the feast seat price, you will be able to fill out a new ePay request and select only the feast option.

Thank you for your patience!
